June 13, day 6
Pretty relaxing day, not a lot planned out. We had a last minute meeting @ the Upperroom Tabernacle International Christ Ministries with the other Pastors that are team leaders & a couple future team member for the Smart Choices program. Glynn went over what we had discussed the night before, he just wanted to encourage the team leaders & to go over some of the things that can be done to make the program even better. Great team of leaders that are willing to help make this program for the students & for the community. After the meeting we went back to the high school to drop off a couple Jesus film dvd's & took a few more pics of some students.
After that we headed for Durban & we're staying at a Christian conference center called Koinonia which is in the city of Hillcrest. We took a long walk looking for the internet cafe before realizing we went too far. When we found it, it was closed, haha. So we drove to town, found a Mugg & Bean so we could get 30 min of free wifi, haha. It was nice being able to FaceTime with my wife, I also got to talk to Brendan for around 30 sec, haha. I guess he's not a fan of FaceTime yet.
