bryan blog, day 4

June 11, day 4

Our 2nd day of teaching went great, it was a longer lesson because it has a lot of great info!  A few students didn't think a baby breathes or is alive until it's born.  Luckily I had a video clip of the ultrasound for LeaGrace the 1st time we got to hear her heartbeat.  All the students were amazed to see the ultrasound & to hear the heartbeat.  A great reminder that only God could create something so unique & special!  I'm sad that tomorrow is the last day we'll be @ this school.
I met a lady named Kate, she's a widow & her story is pretty powerful.  She's pretty amazing as she does so much work with orphans & the community that it makes me tired just thinking about it. Amazing thing is, she does this with 3 kids of her own, 1 of them is adopted.  She's very positive, outgoing & definitely leans on Jesus for help.
We stopped by Pastor Clements house/orphanage/church for a little bit & I had the chance to play frisbee with the kids, pump up some of their soccer balls & kick balls. The kids had a blast with the frisbee so I gave it to them, I'm sure they'll put it to good use.
We finished off the night @ Pastor Thulani's church where Glynn Smith had a meeting with around 25 people (around half were local Pastors).  Glynn was talking about the Smart Choices program & answered questions.  Hopefully these Pastors will join in & help this program to keep growing.
